{"id":52902,"date":"2026-01-07T19:25:25","date_gmt":"2026-01-07T19:25:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vrip.ubiobio.cl\/inicio\/?p=52902"},"modified":"2026-01-07T19:25:25","modified_gmt":"2026-01-07T19:25:25","slug":"investigacion-ubb-aporta-con-soluciones-aplicadas-a-la-industria-alimentaria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vrip.ubiobio.cl\/inicio\/noticias\/investigacion-ubb-aporta-con-soluciones-aplicadas-a-la-industria-alimentaria\/","title":{"rendered":"Investigaci\u00f3n UBB aporta con soluciones aplicadas a la industria alimentaria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Una alianza p\u00fablico-privada en innovaci\u00f3n alimentaria est\u00e1 llevando a cabo el acad\u00e9mico del Departamento de Qu\u00edmica de la Facultad de Ciencias de nuestra Universidad, Dr. Christian N\u00fa\u00f1ez, con la empresa Volc\u00e1n Foods Ltda, al aplicar soluciones cient\u00edficas aplicadas en las frutas, en su calidad de director del proyecto\u00a0\u00abDispositivo para control de hongos fitopat\u00f3genos tipo esponja polim\u00e9rica embebida con aceite esencial de Tepa\u00bb.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"perfect-pullquote algo pullquote-align-left\"><blockquote><p>\u201cEsta colaboraci\u00f3n representa una gran oportunidad para transferir conocimiento desde la academia hacia la industria, potenciando la innovaci\u00f3n regional y generando impactos reales en la cadena de valor alimentaria\u201d, Dr. Christian N\u00fa\u00f1ez.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/div>\n<p>La alianza busca incorporar an\u00e1lisis qu\u00edmicos avanzados, optimizaci\u00f3n de formulaciones y desarrollo de metodolog\u00edas, a trav\u00e9s de un nuevo botricida org\u00e1nico (fungicida para el control del hongo de pudrici\u00f3n en frutas,\u00a0<em>Botrytis\u00a0\u00a0Cinerea<\/em>) para postcosecha en ar\u00e1ndanos, lo que contribuir\u00e1 a sostener la calidad, inocuidad y sostenibilidad del producto mientras es trasladado en contenedores de un pa\u00eds a otro.<\/p>\n<p>El Dr. Christian N\u00fa\u00f1ez se\u00f1al\u00f3 que \u201cesta colaboraci\u00f3n representa una gran oportunidad para transferir conocimiento desde la academia hacia la industria, potenciando la innovaci\u00f3n regional y generando impactos reales en la cadena de valor alimentaria\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Similar opini\u00f3n tuvo el director ejecutivo de la empresa Volc\u00e1n Food Ltda.,\u00a0Francisco Novales,\u00a0quien expres\u00f3 la importancia de esta investigaci\u00f3n \u201cdado las exigencias del mercado internacional para consumir fruta de producci\u00f3n org\u00e1nica, adem\u00e1s de\u00a0\u00a0lo complejo que es tener los insumos necesarios para poder producirla, pues los compradores en Asia, Europa y Estados Unidos exigen total trazabilidad y las certificaciones correspondientes que responden a las tendencias actuales de consumo responsable y salud nutricional\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>La empresa chilena est\u00e1 abocada a la comercializaci\u00f3n nacional e internacional de productos con alto valor agregado en hortofrut\u00edcolas, como ar\u00e1ndanos, cerezas, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>La iniciativa se enmarca en la visi\u00f3n institucional de la universidad de promover la investigaci\u00f3n aplicada, la articulaci\u00f3n con empresas regionales y la contribuci\u00f3n al desarrollo cient\u00edfico-tecnol\u00f3gico del pa\u00eds. En la primera reuni\u00f3n sostenida entre la UBB y la empresa Volc\u00e1n Foods Ltda participaron el director ejecutivo Francisco Novales, el gerente de Operaciones, Cristian Gonz\u00e1lez, y en
