Por otra parte, entiendo que es primera vez que alguien del Departamento publica ah\u00ed, lo que por supuesto es muy relevante. Agradezco las redes de colaboraci\u00f3n internacional que constru\u00ed durante mi doctorado, raz\u00f3n por la cual insto a quienes gusten de la investigaci\u00f3n a estrechar lazos con sus pares, porque es lo que te permite llegar a este tipo de revistas y generar investigaci\u00f3n de impacto en la ciencia a la cual te aboques\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 la Dra. Solange Parra.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/div>\n<p>La Dra. Solange Parra Soto, acad\u00e9mica del Departamento de Nutrici\u00f3n y Salud P\u00fablica y directora del Mag\u00edster en Salud P\u00fablica de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud y de los Alimentos, particip\u00f3 como coautora en un art\u00edculo publicado en la prestigiosa revista Nature Food, denominado \u201cLife expectancy can increase by up to 10\u2009years following sustained shifts towards healthier diets in the United Kingdom\u201d (\u201cLa esperanza de vida puede aumentar hasta 10 a\u00f1os tras cambios sostenidos hacia dietas m\u00e1s saludables en el Reino Unido\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>Su participaci\u00f3n corresponde a una colaboraci\u00f3n con profesionales de la Universidad de Glascow y de la Universidad de Newcastle, en Reino Unido; de la Universidad de Bergen en Noruega; y de la Universidad de Deakin en Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Los estudios se centraron en el c\u00e1lculo de cu\u00e1ntos a\u00f1os extra es posible vivir en base al tipo de alimentaci\u00f3n. All\u00ed desprendieron que el consumo de alimentos ricos en cereales integrales y vegetales, aumentaban la cantidad de a\u00f1os de vida, mientras que alimentos como bebidas azucaradas y carnes rojas, los disminu\u00edan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl ranking Nature para nuestra Universidad es muy importante, ya que la sit\u00faa en una clasificaci\u00f3n de calidad distinta. Por otra parte, entiendo que es primera vez que alguien del Departamento publica ah\u00ed, lo que por supuesto es muy relevante.
